The Teacher Strike

The Teachers Strike

On Wednesday the 29th of May, the teachers went on strike again. They said on the news that many primary and intermediate schools would be closed on that wednesday. Our school was one of them! This is their second recent strike. It's pretty crazy!

The only lowlight to getting a day off is that the parents have nowhere for their kids to go, as it's not like a holiday that everybody is looking forward to and knows when it arrives. And besides, parents still have to work.

I hope that there aren't any more teacher strikes, because my parents have nowhere for me to go, so it gets pretty boring.

Additional blog post - The Tsunami

This is my additional blog post as I finished all of my learning tasks. In class we did a writing lesson, where we looked at a picture and a story starter and we had to write a story based on it. Hope you enjoyed!

* Trash to fashion is where you team up with somebody (or go on your own) and create a piece of clothing from trash, or recycled objects. in One of the categories you must use natural materials instead. Its really cool!
