Novel studies

Novel studies

novel studies is where the reading groups Bethells, Raglan and Kerekere pick a novel to read over the next few weeks. Once we have finished our novels, we will do some activities that will be explained by our teacher/s (Mrs Maguire/Miss Jackson) Along with novel studies, we also have writing tasks, where this week we pick a picture to write about. I chose the one about toilet paper (not as weird as it sounds) But it was a draw between the toilet paper one and the baby that poured pasta on him/her self. Next I would have done the banana factory with the banana obsessed worker/minion/banana lover. These two tasks were my favourite tasks of the week. The two other reading groups don't get novels till later. (I don't know why)

  1. Hi Ruby,
Nice Piece of work you nearly said everything. I liked how you said the different reading groups. Next time you could Remember your capital letters at the beginning of the story and sentences. Maybe you could make it a bit longer and detailed. Also when you listed the reading groups you forgot two Piha and muriwai.
    Bye
    Saskia :)

  2. Hello Ruby H!
I really liked this blog post and I found very very interesting!
Maybe you could remember your capital letters? Like saskia said you accidently forgot the last two reading groups Piha and Muriwai? Apart from that it was great!
