Piano lessons

Piano lessons!

I have been doing piano lessons at this school since I was six years old. The thing I love about it Is just how you can do about anything with the instrument. You can play your own song, or just strum out random notes. You can go really loud or really soft or just play in the middle.

What are some of the piano notes?

Well, like most instruments, there are 8 notes. A, B, C, D, E, F and G. Eight notes, makes and octave. An octave is like a series of 8 notes with all of the notes in it. Going loud and soft is called Dynamics and going really fast and jumpy is called staccato. (I don't know if I am spelling it right! St-car-to)

What are some of my songs i played at assembly?

1. Fandango
2. Can can
3. Blue scales
4. Malegenua
Light and blue is a song I am learning now. Not including fandango I think it might be my best song so far!

The reasoning for this post is because I often get pulled out of things to go. I decided It was about time I made a post about it, Right?

  1. Hi Ruby, I love listening to you learn Light and Blue - it's a lovely piece and soon you'll be playing that at assembly right? It must be awesome to be able to sit down and make some music and you're getting so GOOD!!! xxxx
