Novel studies / Tic Tac Toe

Novel studies / Tic Tac Toe

LI: To read a novel of your choice and complete activities based on it.

Novel studies, or tic tac toe, is where you read a novel of your choosing (Mine was called Catching falling stars, and you pretty much have to do a tic tac toe. A tic tac toe is where you get a series of activities, each based on your novel and each with a certian amount of points given once completed. The goal is to get 250 points. Some of the tic tac toes are:
* Write 3 diary entries in 1st person about the main character
* Write an additional chapter on what happened to the character
* Make a video based on a scene (This has the most points)
* Write a poem based on it
And lots of other things! I quite like some of the tic tac toes, but others I don't see how they help you with your learning. If you scroll down to my last year posts, you will see my video I made last year, based on a book called "In the dark spaces". If you haven't read it then you won't understand it much, but the bloopers are SO FUNNY! I reccomend watching!

(Or you can click on my label, tic tac toe. It should take you to all posts labled that)
