The Teacher Strike

The Teachers Strike

On Wednesday the 29th of May, the teachers went on strike again. They said on the news that many primary and intermediate schools would be closed on that wednesday. Our school was one of them! This is their second recent strike. It's pretty crazy!

The only lowlight to getting a day off is that the parents have nowhere for their kids to go, as it's not like a holiday that everybody is looking forward to and knows when it arrives. And besides, parents still have to work.

I hope that there aren't any more teacher strikes, because my parents have nowhere for me to go, so it gets pretty boring.

    Agreed! It does make things really difficult for parents but I really hope that teachers do get what they deserve. Sometimes in life you have to really stand up and make it known when something just isn't right. :)
